Crawfordsville – George Schlemmer, 60 local
business man committed suicide Wednesday evening by drinking carbolic acid.
Mrs. Schlemmer was attending church at the time and he was found by a son, his
wife and another couple but Schlemmer, restaurant proprietor died shortly
afterward. Surviving are the widow, a son, daughter, brother and two sisters. -
